The latest Trust migrating to mediSIGHT is Royal United Hospitals Bath. The upgrade project completed in July following several months of preparation. The Trust have retained all historically recorded data and the seamless switch over ensured continuity of service to their patients.

Sunderland Eye Infirmary go live with mediSIGHT. The leading ophthalmogy centre, part of The South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust, has implemented the UK's most advanced EMR for eye care. Starting in the cataract service, the Trust expects to be using the system across all subspecialties by the end of 2022

The Lancashire ICS chose mediSIGHT! Four Trusts in this area recognised the need to digitise their ophthalmology services in order to improve efficiencies and deliver better care to patients. East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust all agreed terms to purchase mediSIGHT on the basis that the leading ophthalmology EMR will help to join up healthcare across this region.

April 2022

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust agrees a deal to use mediSIGHT at Luton & Dunstable University Hospital. This major implementation will support the modernisation of the Trust's ophthalmology workflows and enable safer, more secure and efficient patient care.

January 2022

mediSIGHT goes live at specialist children's hospital Alder Hey. One of the first customers to make use of Medisoft's powerful new paediatric, strabismus and orthoptics features, the Trust have implemented the EMR and integrated it with other key systems such as Meditech EPR.

December 2021

Two further NHS Trusts migrate to mediSIGHT. Longstanding customers Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust and Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust upgrade from Medisoft Ophthalmology to the most advanced ophthalmic EMR, mediSIGHT. This smooth and error free process allowed both Trusts to retain all valuable historic data and images.

August 2021

South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust order mediSIGHT as their ophthalmology EMR. One of the leading eye healthcare providers in the UK, the Trust are implementing Medisoft's system at Sunderland Eye Infirmary and various other hospital sites across the North East of England.

Medisoft completes the migration and merge of two major Essex NHS Trusts

Following the administrative merger of two trusts and a subsequent tender for a single ophthalmology EMR, Medisoft have succesfully completed the merge of distinct systems into a single instance for Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust.

This project was complicated by the fact that one of the previous systems was Medisoft Ophthalmology, yet Medisoft's experienced technical teams simultaneously migrated this to mediSIGHT before merging with Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust's system.

Medisoft are proud to announce that mediSIGHT has been awarded to the Clinical and Digital Information Systems framework, established by the London Procurement Partnership (LPP). This allows public sector bodies to procure our EMR directly from the framework, avoiding the need for costly and lengthy tender processes. The application process thoroughly tests the experience, capability, scalability and quality of suppliers, which assures buyers that they are dealing with trusted organisations.
