Following the administrative merger of two trusts and a subsequent tender for a single ophthalmology EMR, Medisoft have succesfully completed the merge of distinct systems into a single instance for Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust.
This project was complicated by the fact that one of the previous systems was Medisoft Ophthalmology, yet Medisoft’s experienced technical teams simultaneously migrated this to mediSIGHT before merging with Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust’s system.
