Medisoft was incorporated in 1997. Medisoft’s business is the development, installation, training and support of an electronic ophthalmology patient records system: ‘Medisoft Ophthalmology’.

‘Medisoft Ophthalmology’ is by far the most widely used ophthalmology electronic medical record (EMR) in the UK and is, we believe, the most widely used ophthalmology EMR in the world.

Medisoft is proud to have been selected by Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Institute of Ophthalmology to market PROGRESSOR an innovative software solution to analyse visual field progression in patients with glaucoma.

Medisoft has also been selected by Mr Alistair Laidlaw and Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust to market a new computer-based visual acuity testing solution that fully integrates with the Medisoft Ophthalmology Electronic Medical Record.
